George Dousis – Greece, is recognised as one of his country’s leading contemporary composers. His catalogue includes a Piano Concerto (2017), a Cello Concerto (2023), orchestral works, and chamber music for small ensembles. He has written eight operas, among which The Magic Pillows (2020) and Hedda Gabler (2018) were commissioned by the Greek National Opera.

His music has been performed internationally in the U.K., U.S.A., Luxembourg, Germany, Spain, Denmark, Mexico, Portugal, Finland, and the United Arab Emirates. As an orchestrator and arranger, he has collaborated with major orchestras, including the Boston Pops (BSO) and the Symphonic Orchestra of Cannes. He is a member of ISCM Greece (International Society of Contemporary Music).

In 2024, his orchestral work Danae and Perseus was shortlisted in the Waterfall Symphonic Orchestra’s international call for scores. That same year, he received Second Prize in the Tapiola Choir International Composition Competition for An Old Man. In 2025, his string quartet Travel Diary was selected as one of the eight finalists in the international composition competition organised by the Chamber Orchestra of the Triangle.

As the founder of the jazz ensemble Momo Trio, he has released three albums (two on vinyl and one digital), alongside two personal jazz albums — the second due in 2025. He has performed in numerous concerts and festivals as a jazz pianist.
