Born in 1986, Hirotaka Nakai began playing the French horn at age 12. He joined Atelier Momo after graduating from high school. His work at the atelier consisted of making mouthpieces for brass instruments, as well as repairing and restoring instruments. As the sole apprentice of Mr. Momotake Kawamura, he took over the management of the Atelier in April 2019, renaming it BrassLab.MOMO. He is always ready to meet the needs of the musicians who visit the Atelier.
