Four musicians from cemented careers at national and international levels come together in a project to interpret their music full of influences from various musical styles, from jazz to rock, through the lively rhythms of world music, the energy of funk music, also including the communicative music of free jazz. This collective organically embraces all these styles through an elegant symbiosis between electronic effects and acoustic sounds of their instruments for an authentic sound trip..
IGNITION, a quartet with a sui generis composition formed by Paulo Bernardino on Bass Clarinet, Gil Gonçalves on Tuba, Manuel Rocha on Guitar, and Joel Silva on Drums.
In March 2023 they released their first album Caminho , edited by the AsUR label , with the support of Antena 2.
