Jair de Pina was born on August 4, 1963, and currently lives in Lisbon, Portugal. A percussion musician, he started playing at the age of 23 alongside Bana and Dani Silva. His first trip and performance took place in 1990, when he accompanied Bana on a performance in Cape Verde.
