Musician and creator, Jorge Queijo holds a degree in Jazz from ESMAE.
He completed the Music Facilitators Training Course at Casa da Música and furthered his studies with a Master’s degree in Music Leadership from the Guildhall School of Music and Drama in London.
He collaborates with the Educational Service of Casa da Música in the design and delivery of workshops in Gamelan, percussion, community music, and music in special contexts.
He is the creator of the installation Blind Box, which explores the importance of sound in journeys undertaken by blind individuals, and of the performance 1.12 mm in the brain, based on experiments with magnetic resonance imaging and electroencephalograms.
He has composed music for dance and theatre performances and maintains an extensive activity as an educator and trainer.
