He began his musical studies with his grandfather, Arnaldino Tedim, at the age of four. He is currently a first-year undergraduate student at the School of Music and Performing Arts (ESMAE), where he studies tuba under Professor Sérgio Carolino. He has won awards in several competitions, including the “Terras de La Salette International Wind Instrument Competition,” the “Spanish Tuba and Euphonium Association Competition,” and the “Young Musicians Award,” among others. He has been a member of several orchestras, including the Orquestra do Norte, the Orquestra Sinfonietta, the Vermoim Philharmonic Orchestra, the Portuguese Philharmonic Orchestra, and the OJ.COM Orchestra, and has performed in concerts at various venues across the country. He has participated in various festivals, notably APTE (Portuguese Association of Tubas and Euphoniums), Gravíssimo (Alcobaça International Festival and Academy of Low Brass), AETYB (Spanish Association of Tubas and Euphoniums), and Aflaup (Portuguese Flutists’ Association). He is a member of the Portuguese tuba ensemble “How Low Can You Go?” and “Massive Brass Attack!,” both directed by Professor Sérgio Carolino. His musical career has been notably influenced by Sérgio Carolino, Gileno Santana, and Dirk Hirthe.
