Rena Hashimoto

Born in Tokyo, Japan, she graduated from the Piano Department of Tokyo College of Music. She studied under Yasuko Koyama and Yukiko Okafuji.

She began her career as a collaborative pianist while still a student and has since gained extensive experience both in Japan and abroad. In recent years, she has served as an official pianist at numerous international competitions, conferences, and music festivals around the world.

AHer appearances as an official pianist include the TubaMania International Festival (2013–14), Italian Brass Week (2016–17), Gravíssimo! (2017), the International Tuba Euphonium Conference (ITEC) (2014, 2019), the International Instrumental Competition Markneukirchen (2016, 2022), the Jeju International Brass & Percussion Competition (2014, 2016–2018, 2022, 2024), and the Akiyoshidai Music Competition – Tuba Division (2018, 2022, 2024), among others.

In 2022, she was awarded the Accompanist Prize at the International Instrumental Competition Markneukirchen..

She is actively engaged in a wide range of performances, including concerts and recitals throughout Japan, appearances on FM broadcasts, and guest performances with orchestras..
